Water Quality
Water Quality Reports
Each year our utility publishes its annual Consumer Confidence Report (CCR). This is a relatively new report we began distributing to all water consumers in 1999 as an Environmental Protection Agency requirement. The CCR Rule requires all community water systems to prepare and distribute a brief annual water quality report summarizing information regarding source, any detected contaminants, compliance, and educational information.
The purpose of the CCR is to improve public health protection by providing educational materials to allow consumers to make informed decisions regarding any potential health risks pertaining to the quality, treatment and management of their drinking water supply.
