Golden Heart and College Utilities administer a program for surveying, inspecting, record keeping, and testing approved backflow prevention assemblies installed in customer service lines that are connected to our water distribution systems. The program was devised and implemented to ensure the security of the potable water supply. The program is required by law and is administered in conjunction with the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation.
